College Parenting Syllabus

college parenting syllabus
Do you guys think im a good student? im having doubts...?

Okay, so i am a freshman at a private high school. My parents really really really put pressure on me to go to a really good college (the best), and it is expected i get in.
At the moment I:
-Have a 3.85 GPA
-Take honors classes
-do 15 hours of ballet/jazz a week
-Have taken piano all my life and have a level 6 syllabus.

is this considered acceptable??? im kind of freaking out, because even though i know im only a freshman, i need to get in!!
opinions?
i am also a year ahead if that matters.... i
i really honestly do not have much time for anything else.... i am either sleeping, doing homework, dancing, or practicing the piano. i barely have time to hang out with my friends any more ) =

It's okay for freshmen to worry about college. I'm a freshman and I already know specifically which colleges I'm going to apply to, backups and everything. You should first do some research on the requirements of the college you want to go to. The scores are a good start (SAT and ACT). Your GPA could use a little work. 3.85 isn't bad at all, just 3.95-4.3 are usually what 'the best' colleges take. You should do some extra currics and volunteer. The dance and piano are a good start. Playing an instrument is always something they like, I don't know why.
Don't stress out too much. People tell me that all the time. Freshman year barely counts because you have to adjust to high school. By sophomore year you should have everything planned out. Good luck!
