What are your opinions on teens reading women magazines?
What do you think of early teens (13-16 year olds) reading fashion and women magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Glamour, Elle etc? Which contain sexual information and pictures of extremely thin women and things like that.
I read some things on the internet about it and so I'm rather curious about peoples opinions.
Picture this scene:
You're a parent and you're taking your 15 year old daughter to the supermarket. She picks out a Cosmopolitan which on the front has headlines such as 'are you amazing in bed?', '10 ways to pleasure your man' etc. Would you let her buy the magazine? Explain your answer.
Thank you!
I would never in my life let my daughter buy such a magazine! It is meant for adults and adults only.
