What are the social issues arising from gay parents?
In particular, having two fathers, mothers.
I think Social issues faced by gay parents are caused by a lack of understanding and a proliferation of stereotypes of society in general. Gay men can be found they have to keep documentation on hand to prove that your child is yours. I have read of cases in which gay parents have been arrested by the police to investigate the situation "to ensure that the child was not kidnapped. The child may experience teasing by their classmates and peers. Other than that you have problems the lack of legal recognition of LGBT families. The society is not supportive of same-sex families, which can cause some stress for the family. I guess the important thing to remember that even with the pressure of society gay parents, LGBT people can be very good parents, who raise valuable members of society.
