I wanted to know is it possible for you to test positive for herpes 2 and your partners to all test negative.?
Within the past year I have only slept with 3 guys. I have been having unprotected sex with my ex for the past 8 months. I went to the gyno for a regular std screen and asked for a hsv test and found out that I was positive. Now Im trying to find out which of the three guys gave it to me. They are all saying their nagative. 2 or 3 have agree to go over their results with me. My ex however wants nothing to do with me and will not share his results with me (even though he says he is negative). I called all the clinics and planned parenthoods in his area and they said they will only give the test to someone only if a sore is present. I want to know is it possible for them to be negative. Can I take my ex to court to make him provide his test results to a judge? Please shed some light because Im going crazy!
NO, you can't take your ex to court to find out his herpes 2 status, especially since you have unprotected sex. If he were positive, he could just as easily claim you gave it to him and you couldn't prove otherwise. It's overdue for you to dump your ex sexually with his "attitude" and stop having unprotected sex unless you now want to expose yourself to HIV, gonorrhea, syphilis, and several other STDs.
