Positive home pregnancy test negative planned parenthood test ?
My girlfriend took a first response 5 days before your period pregnancy test and it came out positive. We then went to planned parenthood and she took a pregnancy test there and it came out negative. Which test should we believe ???
I had what they call a chemical pregnancy about a year ago. I took several positive pregnancy tests and then a couple days later negative tests. I eventually got my "period" which was actually a very early miscarriage. It so early that you barely have any HCG in your body and you may only catch enough of it in your system for a positive test for a day or so, or not at all. It was a very heavy period and I cramped more than I normally did but other than that if I hadn't taken a pregnancy test I would never have known. I would just make sure that your girlfriend isn't drinking, smoking, drinking caffeine, etc. to be on the safe side. If she has a viable pregnancy chances are it will progress normally if she doesn't then there is nothing you can do this early. I would make an OB/GYN appt if you can. That is the only way you will know for sure what is going on. Good Luck.
